देहरादून। 9 नवंबर को उत्तराखंड का 25वा राज्य स्थापना दिवस मनाया जा रहा है और इस बार इस स्थापना दिवस रजत जयंती के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है राज्य स्थापना दिवस से एक दिन पहले सूबे के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी द्वारा राज्य आंदोलन में शहीद हुए राज्य आंदोलनकारियों के परिजनों, राज्य आंदोलन के समय सक्रिय भूमिका में रहे आंदोलनकारियों और उस समय अलग अलग भूमिका में रहे लोगों को सम्मानित किया गया इस मौके पर उत्तराखंड राज्य आंदोलन में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने वाले चिन्हित राज्य आंदोलनकारी जितेन्द्र चौधरी जीतती भाई को भी इस मौके पर सम्मानित किया गया।
इस मौके पर भावुक होते हुए जीतती भाई ने कहा कि राज्य आंदोलन के समय ना जाने कितने लोगो ने शहादत दी लोग जेल में रहे पुलिस की गोलियां और डंडे खाए लेकिन राज्य निर्माण कराकर ही दम लिया। राज्य आंदोलन की बात को याद करते हुए नम आंखों से जीतती भाई ने कहा कि बहुत ही लड़ाई लड़ने के बाद ही ये राज्य मिला अब हम सबका कर्तव्य है कि राज्य को अग्रणी बनाने में सभी सहयोग करे।
