नैनीताल जिले के भ्रमण पर पहुंचे राज्य सरकार में उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डाक्टर धन सिंह रावत ने मंगलवार को भूस्खलन प्रभावित बलियानाला क्षेत्र में चल रहे ट्रीटमेंट कार्य का निरीक्षण किया।
इस दौरान डॉ धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि ट्रीटमेंट कार्य समय से पूर्ण किए जाएं और अधिक संवेदनशील स्थलों पर बरसात के दौरान सुरक्षा के साथ कार्य किए जाए इसके लिए सभी एहतियात बरते जाए साथ ही मंत्री द्वारा गतिमान कार्यों की विभित्र बेंच पर जाकर विभिन्न कार्यों का बारिकी से निरिक्षण कर कार्य में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए भी संबंधित अधिकारी को दिए गए इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारियों से परियोजना के तहत सभी कार्य सुरक्षात्मक तरीके से करने के निर्देश दिए।
सिंचाई विभाग के ए ई सुमित कुमार ने बताया कि बलियानाला में सिचांई विभाग द्वारा सुरक्षा के कार्य प्रगति में है जिसकी तीन साल की कार्य अवधि है कुछ कार्यों में डीपीआर संशोधित की गई है कार्य आवश्यकतानुसार योजना की लागत जो पूर्व में 177.91 करोड़ थी और बढ़कर 298.93 करोड़ हो गई।
शिक्षा मंत्री ने प्रभावित लोगों को विस्थापन के लिए भूमि चयन करने के निर्देश दिए निरीक्षण के दौरान स्थानीय लोगों से भी मुलाक़ात की। उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रीटमेंट कार्य के दौरान आबादी वाले इलाके प्रभावित नहीं हो इसका विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए साथ ही इसके लिए संबंधित विभाग तकनीकी एजेंसी के सुझाव के अनुरूप कार्य करने के आदेश दिए ।
