उत्तराखंड में लगातार हो रही बारिश के चलते जन जीवन बुरी तरह से अस्त व्यस्त हो गया है पूरे राज्य में पिछले तीन दिन से लगातार बारिश हो रही है पहाड़ों में कई मार्ग अवरुद्ध हो चुके है जगह जगह मलबा आने से गांव से लेकर हाइवे तक पर असर साफ़ दिख रहा है इस बीच मौसम विभाग ने एक बार राज्य के कई जिलों में ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है।मौसम केंद्र देहरादून के निदेशक डॉ विक्रम सिंह ने कहा कि राज्य में इस बार औसत से ज्यादा वर्षा हो रही है और ये सिलसिला आगे दिनों में भी जारी रहेगा कही भारी बारिश तो कही भारी से भी ज्यादा बारिश राज्य में रहेगी।साथ ही देहरादून, पौड़ी, उत्तरकाशी, टिहरी, रुद्रप्रयाग, नैनीताल और बागेश्वर में मंगलवार को बहुत भारी बारिश रहने की संभावना को देखते हुए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है जबकि शेष जिलों के लिए येलो अलर्ट घोषित है।
मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र देहरादून के निदेशक बिक्रम सिंह के अनुसार, छह जुलाई तक राज्य में जलभराव, बाढ़ और भूस्खलन की आशंका है इसको लेकर मौसम विभाग ने चेतावनी जारी कर दी है बीते 24 घंटे में राज्य में औसत से चार गुना अधिक, 35 मिमी वर्षा दर्ज की गई है।
